| Who is 21st Century Eloquence? | 21st Century Eloquence is a Premier re-seller of voice recognition products. We are proud to note that we have sold speech recognition products to hundreds of customers and this number is growing rapidly. We do not concentrate in any one particular market, but rather concentrate on keeping ourselves as up-to-date as possible in this rapidly growing field. We are able to offer to you products from most major voice recognition manufacturers and in this way we are best able to fit your needs with the proper product. |
| Our Support | We stand behind all the products that we sell, both with service and
support. In the event that you require telephone support, our support desk is open from 9am - 5pm Monday -Friday eastern standard time. This, of course, is in addition to the telephone support you will receive from the manufacturer. |
| Refunds - Returns | In the event that you receive a defective product, or if it breaks during
the warranty period we will be happy to assist you in obtaining a properly
functioning replacement. Since much of what we supply is software, and since software is so easily able to be copied, please understand that we are unable to offer refunds on opened software. In this regard we comply with the appropriate industry standards. We will, however, refund your purchase price, less a 15% re-stocking fee, for unopened software returned in saleable condition within 30 days of purchase. |
| Payment Options | We accept most major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We accept business and personal checks. However we reserve the right to wait until a check has cleared prior to shipping any product. We accept domestic Purchase Orders from most governmental institutions, major educational institutions, hospitals and Fortune 500 companies. |
| Shipping | We have most items in stock most of the time. We attempt to ship all items
ordered prior to 1pm on the same day. We offer standard UPS ground shipping for free within the continental United States. We attempt to ship all orders received before 1:00 pm eastern standard time the same day as placed. We offer, for an extra charge, next day air, second day air and overseas shipping. Since we are one of the largest voice recognition dealers in the world, we have a rapid turn-over and find that stocking most items is much simpler for us than having them drop shipped from the manufacturer. However, we do occasionally have a 'run' on one particular item, or you may want an unusual item, such as a foreign language module that we don't stock. In those instances we will have them drop shipped from the manufacturer. We still charge the same for shipping. However, there may be a 1 or 2 day delay.. |
| Overseas Sales | We offer, for an extra charge, overseas shipping. Please note that in certain instances for overseas sales your product will be delivered to you directly from a local dealer. In those instances we still offer the same telephone support as for our own direct shipments. |
| Upgrades Including Continuous Speech |
Most if not all manufacturers have indicated to us that they consider discrete speech and continuous speech to be two entirely separate product lines, and that they will not offer any upgrade path from discrete to continuous speech. HOWEVER, 21st Century Eloquence will do better than that! We understand that you may be hesitant in purchasing discrete speech products knowing that they may become old technology in the near future. At 21st Century Eloquence we are anxiously looking forward to the commercial availability of continuous speech recognition products. We do offer upgrade paths for our customers. As of fall 1996 we are still unsure of the pricing or timing of release of the continuous speech systems. However, we have been given indications that they will retail between $2500 - $7500 for simple entry level systems and we believe that we should be able to start shipping them by mid 1997, if not earlier. If you purchase a Continuous Speech Recognition system from us for $2000 or more, we will apply 50% of your purchase price (up to $1000) of any discrete speech recognition system purchased from us during the preceding12 months. This is just one more example of our commitment to our customers and speech recognition technology! (Please note: this offer does not apply to upgrading between various discrete speech programs.) |
