Designed specifically for the dictation and
transcription market VTR recorders are available with on-board recording
capacities of up to 2 ½ hours and feature removable memory cards to
extend capacity even further.
Advanced compression technology allows minutes of
dictation to be downloaded in seconds directly to the serial port of a PC.
Once downloaded, files can be transcribed, e-mailed, electronically
transferred or archived in compressed or WAV format.
Whether transcription is manual or automatic, VTR
recorders offer unsurpassed transcription ease. PC-based Voice LinkTM
software provides an on-screen transcription window that runs alongside
any word processing program. Specifically designed for compatibility with
voice-to-text software, Voice It VTR recorders are the only mobile
recorders that have been tested and approved for use with both Dragon
Systems and IBM mobile voice recognition software.

Simple to use record, play, skip search and erase functions. Insert
and delete passages within a recording. Pause function allows users to
organize thoughts before proceeding.
- Download capability allows compressed voice files
to be transferred in seconds directly to a PC through the serial port.
Once downloaded voice files, in compressed or WAV format, can be
transcribed, e-mailed, electronically transferred or archived.
- PC-based Voice LinkTM software, which
comes with each recorder, provides an on-screen transcription window
which runs alongside any word processing program. Function keys for
play, forward and reverse can be operated with a mouse or foot pedal.
- Designed with sampling frequencies compatible
with popular voice-to-text transcription programs. Voice It VTR
recorders are compatible with both Dragon Systems and IBM mobile
voice-to-text software programs.
- VTR recorders allow up to 99 files folders each
containing up to 99 separate recordings for unparalleled organization
of voice files.
- For system interface, the unique PC-based Voice
LinkTM software allows messages to be assigned 12-character
names and for notes of up to 128-characters to be assigned. These
names and notes can be customized to facilitate compatibility with
applications and databases. And a unique upload capability allows the
mobile unit to be customized with file names which appear in the LCD.
